July 18th was World Listening Day. We decided to ask some Clouderans about some of the great listeners that have made an impact in their day to day, in their work, and in their lives. Here is what they shared! #ClouderaLife #ClouderaCulture #WeHearYou
Turtles and tortoises are common sightings in parables, stories, and pop culture and we celebrate World Turtle Day on May 23 to honor these resilient animals. Turtles and tortoises are associated with wisdom and perseverance. They maintain an ecological balance and, therefore, it’s important to conserve these gentle, majestic animals. #Worldturtleday #tortoise #inspiration #conservation #turtlepower
On World Press Freedom Day, we at Cloudera would like to recognize the important service provided by press professionals. By celebrating World Press Freedom Day, journalists and democracy advocates we contribute to defending the freedom of speech, access to information, and the independence of the media. #Worldfreedomday #Freedomofspeech #cloudera
World Design Day is a day to recognize the huge impact that design has on our daily lives. Great design is everywhere in our immediate environments, more than we realize. We only need to pause and take notice. Design makes everyday life both beautiful and meaningful. Take a moment today to look around and appreciate all of the design that surrounds you! #worlddesignday #ClouderaLife #peacelovedesign
Clouderans enjoying monthly unplug days through our initiative to create a better work life balance for all.
In honor of #womensmonth, Clouderans wanted to express their gratitude for some of the most influential women in their lives to say 'Thank you'!
Cloudera has been recognised again this year, as a Best Workplace for Women in 2023- Ireland, by the Great Place to Work Institute! Below is some of the feedback directly from the GPTW Institute: · Strong proportionate representation of females already in management and senior management positions · Strong positive female sentiment in the GPTW employee survey, specifically on responses related to career development opportunities, progression and fairness in workplace · Excellent focus in our Culture Audit submission, on removing gender bias from all forms of decision making · Commitment to our external communities, building relationships across academia and various networking forums, to inspire more females to work in our industry
I’ve been at Cloudera for 2 years altogether, & I am a ‘boomerang’ employee. I left Cloudera during the pandemic due to personal circumstances. When I reached out to the Recruitment team about coming back, they were so supportive. I was thrilled to return to Cloudera. My role as Proposal Coordinator involves providing support to Sales Teams on proposals (RFPs/RFIs). A typical day involves analysing proposal documents & highlighting key deliverables while ensuring associated documents are completed by the relevant teams. Our team works with SMEs & Sales teams to complete the proposal to the highest standard. I feel lucky to work with such great colleagues around the globe every day. I recently attended Sales Kick Off in Miami, which was a brilliant experience for me. There are so many great benefits such as Unplug Days & ‘Cloudera Cares’, as there are some many great causes to give back to. It’s well advocated with our ERGs & donations employees make to their chosen cause are matched. For anyone considering a career@Cloudera, I would say you are making a great career choice!
Today in our Bangalore office, 34 new interns started their career journeys! It was a day filled with new swag, fun events, lots of laughs and cake of course. Welcome aboard, new interns! We're happy to have you.
Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to spreading generosity and it's growing in popularity around the world. Once again, this year Cloudera offered donation matching to employees who made various charitable contributions. And once again, Clouderans showed just how much of an impact we can make, individually and together. Way to show up and give back, Clouderans.
