We are therefore pleased to announce the recent relaunch of Costello Medical’s sabbatical policy where we will be offering paid and unpaid sabbaticals to reward colleagues when they reach employment milestones. The policy allows employees to apply for an unpaid sabbatical after three years’ of continuous employment, a paid sabbatical (paid at the rate of the employee’s full reference salary for one month) after five years’ of continuous employment and a second paid sabbatical of one month after ten years’ of continuous employment. As we begin the development of our fifth internal app, we are excited to announce the launch of our new Technical Innovation and Development Division with Alex Pashley, Cathy Thomas, Saarang Tiwari and Sara Steeves as the founding members! While we view innovation as an essential company-wide value, we have established a central team that combines scientific and software development expertise to facilitate research and development of technical solutions for our internal processes and client services. This includes ongoing research into the use of machine learning in evidence generation and our most recent web application developed in-house to reduce the administrative burden of conducting Delphi panels on participants and panel coordinators.
