This Thanksgiving season, our teams are keeping the spirit of gratitude front and center—and turning it into action through Operation Gratitude. Over the past few months, shops across our markets have been coming together to assemble care kits and write handwritten notes for troops, veterans, and first responders. It’s a simple way to say “we see you” to the people who serve our communities every day. We’re proud of the momentum so far—and thankful for the teammates making time to give back this season in such a meaningful way.
We never stop learning — or lifting each other up. 💪 Our team recently completed Bucket Truck Inspector training sessions in California and Arizona, partnering with ATTC and Manheim to give our techs hands-on experience inspecting Cox Communications bucket trucks. Led by our own Hector Nunez (Truck Maintenance Manager) and Dave Holston (Sr. Technical Trainer), alongside ATTC trainers, these sessions were a true One Cox collaboration — combining expertise across teams to strengthen capabilities and better serve customers. Special thanks to Drew Anderson (Instructor, ATTC NJ), the lead course developer, whose support helped deliver an outstanding experience. The feedback says it all: greater confidence, clearer standards, and stronger skills in the field.
Behind every uptime stat is a trusted technician. In our latest article with Transport Topics, we explore how fleets can best balance first-party technicians with marketplace agility to keep trucks rolling and customers happy.
Our very own Larry Fowler recently sat down with Fleet Equipment Magazine to talk all things Top Tech — Cox Automotive's annual skills competition that brings together our best technicians from across the country. The event fuels a real-time feedback loop that helps shape how we train, serve, and stay ahead in this ever-changing industry. It’s how we stay at our best — and celebrate our best. 👉 Read more about how our Top Tech competition raises the bar for truck service excellence in Fleet Equipment Magazine: https://lnkd.in/eNb3nj2G
