HTM Apprentices: A Year Later and Making a Difference
At the North Carolina Biomedical Association (NCBA)'s Annual Symposium on August 15, two of Crothall Healthcare Technology Solutions' (HTS) very own were honored for their outstanding contributions to the field. Greg Bolick, a BMET Apprentice, was awarded the Eddy Whisnant Scholarship for demonstrating academic excellence and a commitment to biomedical equipment technology. Codi Nelson, a Project Manager, was awarded a lifetime honorary membership to the association where he has served as two-time President, Vice President, Treasurer, Vendor Coordinator, and many other roles during his tenure. These individuals were selected based on their professional achievements, earned merits, and the positive influence they bring to the HTM industry. •Tajwar Khan: Regional Director of Operations with over 10 years of experience in the HTM industry. Taj began her career as an intern in 2013. Since then, She’s earned her master’s degree in biomedical engineering. •Aaron Watts: Unit Director for Crothall who has a passion for improving patient care. He is always looking for new ways to use technology to make a difference in the lives of patients. •Daniel Endara: also began as an intern and is currently a Unit Director at RUMC dedicated to providing excellent customer service. In a recent team-building event, Crothall Healthcare Managers worked in teams of 3, assembling bicycles to be donated to the St. Francis Community Center in Long Beach Island, NJ. Each of the 12 new bikes will be given to a deserving child in an underserved community. Thanks to everyone for your hard work and dedication to serving your community!
