We're excited to share our record-breaking $2.25 million donation to Phoenix Children's 1 Darn Cool School! As a credit union founded by teachers, we know education can be life-changing — especially for kids facing chronic illnesses or life-changing injuries. This donation supports a fully accredited K-12 program that helps hospitalized children stay on track academically. We also surprised the program’s incredible teachers with toolboxes filled with iPads, VR headsets and STEAM classroom kits to help students thrive. This gift is part of our $5 million commitment by 2029 and reflects our ongoing mission to share success and empower Arizona's future generations.

During the grand opening week of our Flagstaff Mall branch, we were able to tour Coconino Community College's Fourth Street Campus and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and provided them $15,000 from Desert Financial Foundation to support CTE education. Coconino Community College currently serves over 3,000 students and provides various programs under its Career and Technical Education mission.
