On June 16th, we had a 'Culture Corner' virtual event to celebrate Juneteenth, where there was conversation around Toni Tipton Martin's "Jubilee: Recipes from Two Centuries of African American Cooking". During this hour we discussed the history of the recipes that acknowledge and celebrate black culinary pioneers. We felt this was a wonderful time to highlight the hopefulness, resilience, freedom, and joy that is embodied by this important holiday.
We are so excited to have spent this week showing our appreciation to our teachers, helping them feel cared for and rejuvenated. They work tirelessly to reach so many students across America, putting in thoughtful time and energy to ensure they are giving them the best teaching experience. We've been celebrating our teachers each day of Teacher Appreciation week and encourage you to #thankateacher that has impacted your life! 💚
Over the last month, our Elevate K-12 teams in the US and India came together, in person and virtually, to host our second-annual Unity Sports League celebration!
