June 19, or Juneteenth, celebrates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Originating in Texas, Juneteenth is celebrated across the U.S. and as of June 17, 2021, has officially been designated a Federal holiday. FactSet commemorated Juneteenth as a paid company holiday for U.S.-based employees on Friday, June 18. June marks the beginning of #pridemonth and our theme for this year is allyship.
