GBS is proud to announce the first annual recipients of the Larry A. Merriman Scholarship Fund! Created in memoriam of GBS founder Larry Merriman, the scholarship is open to all GBS employee dependents pursuing higher education, whether they’re a recent high school graduate or already enrolled in a college, university, trade or vocational school. This year, the scholarship was awarded to five candidates who exemplify personal and academic excellence.

The YOGI Golf Committee held its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on August 5, 2019 at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield, Ohio. Once again, the outing was a tremendous success. This year's fundraising event was a result of a dedicated and widespread effort by the many GBS individuals and teams that donated generously to the Chinese Auction. This event not only raises money for YOGI but for select charities. This year's recipients included Marketplace Solutions, The Purple Cat and The Beatitude House. We want to thank everyone who gave of their time, talent and treasure to make our 2019 YOGI Charity Golf Tournament a success!

GBS Receives 2019 Business Excellence Award from Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce On May 7, 2019, GBS Corp was honored as one of six recipients of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce's Business Excellence Award. The award is presented annually to area companies that have earned distinction through longevity, growth, innovation, and consistent involvement in the local community. The award was received by GBS' Executive Vice President, Jeff Merriman during a Chamber dinner. The company began solely as a print management provider and has grown tremendously over the years and is now a leader in technology and information management in the healthcare, credit union, labels, and general business sectors.

Our 2nd Annual YOGI Charity Golf Tournament teed off on August 6th when players hit the greens at the Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield, Ohio. The highly-anticipated event benefited several Mahoning Valley and surrounding area charities. Awards were given to those who excelled at the challenges on the days golfing agenda. Each player had the opportunity to compete in various challenges for a chance to win big. Prizes were awarded to players closest to the pin on par 3’s and to the player completing the longest drive, as well as many other fun competitions.
