We believe that every individual should have the opportunity to pursue their academic dreams without the burden of financial constraints, and we couldn’t be prouder to support this incredible group – the next generation of insurance and financial services leaders. The program has a strong focus on assisting students from underserved backgrounds and awards up to 10 scholarships of $5,000 to students with an interest in insurance or financial services who are enrolled full-time at a four-year college or university in the United States. To honor Inclusion Month, Global Atlantic Financial Group hosted our first “Days of Inclusion” on July 19 and 20. We had a great time learning from our keynote speaker, Phil Gwoke from BridgeWorks: Bridging the Generational Divide, as he discussed “The Power of Generational Diversity” and participating in volunteer events. We had 350+ employees complete over 790 volunteering hours across all our office locations, including: ·Creating 150 craft kits for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital ·Hosting a KBB Clean-Up event at Shelley Bay Beach & Park ·Packaging meals for individuals in need with Meals from the Heartland ·Stuffing 600 backpacks for children with United Way ·Helping feed over 300 families at Gleaners Food Bank ·Packing over 2,200 boxes with Citymeals on Wheels ·Participating in a bingo game and Q&A with athletes from Special Olympics Check out some of our pictures! #GlobalAtlantic #DaysofInclusion #GAInclusionMatters
