We thank the folks at Rivertown Toyota for donating a truck bed full of shoes to support Soles4Souls: a non-profit social enterprise which includes a micro-enterprise business model. Not only giving to those in need, Soles4Souls provides the individual with the ability to start a local, small business by supplying high-quality and low-cost products for disadvantaged communities globally. Since inception, Soles4Souls distributed over 30 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries!
The city of Amarillo, Texas knows a thing or two about having a good BBQ. So when Gene Messer Ford Amarillo met their March sales goal, Daryl Kenningham (President of US Operations) flew from Houston to cook everyone a steak lunch. The steaks were delicious and everyone was proud to have Daryl fly from the other side of Texas to celebrate!
Over the weekend, Team Sterling McCall, the Official Vehicle Partner for the 2019 BP MS 150, had a team of 40 riders from our Houston-area stores, call center, and corporate headquarters. We sincerely appreciate their hard work and the training involved to make this happen, plus we thank our terrific group of volunteers from our Houston and Austin sites.
