The Indeed Work Wellbeing 100, based on a study by University of Oxford, highlights the link between associate wellbeing and financial performance. Today, H&R Block announced Curtis Campbell as the new President of Global Consumer Tax and Chief Product Officer. Campbell will join the team following tax season. Campbell has worked extensively in the tax industry and led product organizations for multiple global companies. He brings a depth of knowledge and experience that will elevate the experiences we create and drive growth in our consumer tax business. As President of Global Consumer Tax, Campbell will lead an enterprise-wide agenda to deliver customer-centric strategies and exceptional client and tax professional outcomes with a focus on achieving strong financial performance for the global consumer business. Campbell will also leverage his deep product management experience and expertise as H&R Block’s Chief Product Officer to drive company-wide product management excellence.

💸 Tis’ the Season – Tax Season ’24, that is! H&R Block associates came together in person and virtually for our December Town Hall, where CEO Jeff Jones officially kicked off #TaxSeason2024. 💪 SVP Mark Darling led a field-focused panel and shared how our 70,000 #taxprofessionals are ready to provide our clients a best-in-class experience and, of course, a maximum return. 🌟 CMO Jill Cress and marketing VPs Shilpi Pathak, Alice Colarusso, Wendy Fitch, Teri Daley, APR, and Mike Halvorsen spotlighted what our world-class marketing team has been working on for months to get ready for the season. This quarter’s Volunteer Spotlight goes to the H&R Block - Young Professionals Belonging Group’s “Putt to End Hunger” event, sponsored by PXG Kansas City and benefitting Harvesters--The Community Food Network. Teams from across the organization participated in constructing mini golf holes out of canned goods and non-perishable food items. Congratulations are in order for our A Fair Shot program that recently won a PRWeek Purpose Award for Best Use of Celebrity and/or Influencers. A Fair Shot was created to raise awareness of the name, image, likeness (NIL) pay disparity between female college athletes and their male counterparts. Since its start in 2022, the program has helped level the playing field by awarding more than $1M in NIL sponsorships to female athletes along with tax help and financial education resources. Thanks to our athlete partners and collective team for continuing to spread the word about this important issue in such a dynamic and meaningful way.
