H2M architects + engineers has been awarded a contract to provide engineering services related to the construction, testing, and summary conclusions of pilot testing for a new wellhead treatment system for 1,4-dioxane removal at Garden City’s Water Department’s Clinton Road Plant. H2M's expertise in 1,4-dioxane removal with a new treatment system known as Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) will help water systems like Garden City and numerous other systems on Long Island. H2M has already performed four other pilot systems across Long Island and is working closely with Stony Brook Center for Clean Water Technology on three others.
