Each January, we take time to honor and reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a scholar and minister but is most notably known for his activism and leadership during the Civil Rights Movement. Through Danaher (Hach’s parent company), we have a voluntary, associate-led group called the Black + Friends Associate Resource Group (ARG) that promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace aligned with Danaher’s organizational missions, values, goals, business practices, and objectives. This ARG is committed to a season of service. In place of a traditional service opportunity this year, the ARG is hosting a virtual school supply drive with a goal of raising $9000. Join us for the 5th Annual Hach Walk for Water coming up on Saturday, May 5th. With just a little over a month to go it is time to register and donate so you can help take strides for clean water. Over the past four year we have been able to positively impact communities in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America with our contributions. Because of the Walk for Water, families and neighbors now have access to a safe and reliable source of clean water enabling them to spend more time going to school, making a living and improving their communities.
