Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce representatives, local community leaders, and Hancock Whitney officers recently celebrated the grand re-opening of our renovated Bayou Cane Financial Center in Houma, Louisiana. This facility received a large amount of damage during Hurricane Ida in fall 2021. The renovated financial center houses a full team of professionals providing a broad spectrum of financial services to help local consumer, small business, commercial, and wealth banking clients across the Houma-Terrebonne region succeed.

Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, Inc. (JAGNO), a regional chapter of Junior Achievement, has named Hancock Whitney Corporation Director Sonia Pérez and President and CEO John Hairston as 2022 Laureates with the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame. Pérez and Hairston were among six Laureates honored during JAGNO ceremonies this week in New Orleans. Established in 1984, the Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame honors local business people who have embraced the spirit of entrepreneurship in the community. Honorees must have records of outstanding entrepreneurial achievements, have made very significant, recognized contributions to the success of their organizations or professions, adhere to high moral and ethical principles, and serve as role models for others.
