Participated for the fourth year in a row at The Jimmy Fund’s Scooper Bowl, a charity event that raised more than $450,000 in support of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s mission to conquer cancer. We were proud to be the presenting sponsor for such a wonderful event (who doesn’t love all you can eat ice cream for a great cause?!). Thank you to all our employees from the office and the stores who volunteered their time!

On behalf of the Henley team, we would like to recognize one of our team members, Jose, for going above and beyond! Jose works in the Whittier, CA Valvoline Instant Oil Change location. There was a house located behind the service center where a senior citizen lives by herself. Jose noticed that the lawn hadn't been cut in some time, and knew she was alone and did not have the resources to cut it herself. In true Henley fashion, Jose stepped up and spent ALL day cutting her lawn. Jose said something that stuck with us: "We are about people, we just happen to do oil changes". Jose has been with Henley for 2 years and is currently an Assistant Manager. Awesome job Jose - that's what Henley is all about!

Henley has acquired 25 service centers in San Diego county. With this huge addition, we have some exciting promotions: - Andrew Moore: promoted to Area Manager in the San Diego area. Andrew has significant quick lube experience and joined the Henley family as a Service Center Manager when Henley acquired 3 Oil Can Henley locations in Orange County. Andrew fast tracked through our training program and was assigned to run our Upland CA service center. He then transferred closer to home and run the Redlands CA service center until his recent promotion. - Ronald Bratton: promoted to Area Manager in Orange County. Ronnie comes from a background of sales and warehouse work. He started his journey into the quick lube business with EZ lube in 2011 and joined the Henley family shortly after. Naturally great with customers, he worked himself from an entry-level technician to taking over his first store as Service Center Manager in Yorba Linda. He then ran the Costa Mesa location, and most recently Huntington Beach. He's proved brings high performance to anywhere he goes! A HUGE congrats!!
Henley keeps on growing! We have officially opened our newest service center in Southern California located in San Diego County. This brings our store count to 86 in Southern California, 6 in Northern California, with a bunch of new service centers opening next week as well (updates to follow). October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and Henley Enterprises d.b.a Valvoline Instant Oil Change is partnering with AutoTex PINK to raise funds and increase awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
