“When I was a child, I was fascinated by how my grandma could ‘talk to the computer’ through coding.” This is what inspired Junior Business Analyst Becca Blair’s interest in pursuing a degree in computer science, but it wasn’t always the path she imagined for herself. For U.S. veteran Debby O’Donnell, transitioning from being in the military as a J9 (Joint Staff Directorate, now reorganized as the Service Member Family Support), to her civilian work life with ICF as a Senior Budget Analyst felt natural. “One of the reasons I joined ICF was because of the work they do,” says Debby. “I had many responsibilities I incurred over the last 26 years in the military, and at ICF I’m able to use those skills while still challenging myself to continue being the best I can be for ICF and the client.” Learn more about her experience.

Brian Levite began his career at ICF. He learned how to be a consultant—listening, analyzing, and packaging information to add value to clients—and he used those skills at every step of his career afterward. But ICF’s thought leadership in climate, energy, and the environment enticed Brian to return, this time as Senior Technical Consultant Distributed Grid Strategy. "Truth be told, I was tired of moving jobs every few years. I asked myself: Where can I go that will let me work on a series of different issues and constantly have areas of growth—somewhere I can stay until I retire, knowing that I won't get stuck doing the same thing? The first answer in my head was always ICF."
We're proud to be recognized by Forbes on their list of America's Best Employers for Diversity.
