“After almost 10 years, I still come to work with a smile every day,” shares David Sabourin, Canada manager of DC operations. When he started at IEWC, David was looking for a company that was big enough for growth opportunities, yet not so big that he’d be just a number. “I have grown with IEWC, but there is still a lot of to learn and much I can add to the organization. I started as a DC supervisor and was promoted twice to become Canadian DC operations manager. The position did not exist when I first started, so as we continue to grow as an organization, I have as well. “Joining IEWC means joining a great team of people dedicated to the same goals. There are great mentors in the company that ensure knowledge is transferred to new employees so they have what they need to be successful.” We need more distribution center team members like David at a number of locations!

The IEWC team works hard and plays hard too. IEWC Star Wars fans celebrated yesterday's "holiday" with a fun quiz to determine who are the true Jedi Masters. 7 employees landed perfect scores! And some folks dressed up to celebrate, too. #maythefourthbewithyou
Quality Specialist Gilbert Gonzalez’s career at IEWC has evolved and grown through the years. “IEWC has always felt like a family that has helped me grow my career and I feel truly valued as an employee. “I began at IEWC as a temporary worker, then became a warehouse associate. Over the years, I progressed to a warehouse technician and ran the Tampa, Fla., distribution center as a DC Lead. Upon my return to Wisconsin, I worked as a DC Lead and then transitioned to a new role as a Quality Specialist. You should consider working for IEWC if you want opportunity for career growth and development.” We need more team members like Gilbert who want to grow in experience and responsibilities. Take a look at our career opportunities here:
Kimberly Coyne, Commercial Operations Director, is an integral member of our Sales team. "I’ve had many opportunities to be part of projects that have challenged me, and helped me grow both professionally and personally. One of our IEWC values, 'Be Constantly Creative,' connects with me in particular as I am a person who doesn’t mind change and believe the only way to improve is to look at things differently, challenge the status quo and be willing to adapt. Being creative is essential for us to excel and advance IEWC.”
Congratulations to one of our employee owners here at IEWC, Matt Miller! Matt was recently announced as one of 10 individuals featured in a "Future Leaders Awards" program put together by Modern Distribution Management (MDM). IEWC nominated Matt for this honor as we felt he strongly met the criteria that this publication laid out in their nomination process: “Candidates should exhibit the character and drive of a future leader in the distribution industry, which includes a diverse set of skills, interests and capabilities.” Matt exemplifies IEWC’s purpose, vision, and values and so I cannot think of a better representative of our organization to the readers of that publication.
