We welcomed clinical psychologist Gretchen Moran Marsh, Ph.D. at our Southfield headquarters to speak on strategies to improve #mentalhealth. She taught the importance of checking our S.E.L.F (Sleep, Exercise, Leisure, Food) to minimize stress and anxiety. Through Fondo Unido - United Way Chihuahua, employees from our Mexico Structures Division donated cleaning equipment to the non-profit organization Amigos de la Sierra to help in the prevention and fight against forest fires. Lear employees and their families also dedicated their time and effort to clean up trash and other debris from 5 kilometers of roadside near the Arteaga Sierra Forest where many have suffered the onslaught of fires. In support of the people of Ukraine, our Lear team in Tychy, Poland, donated to a fundraising campaign launched by Tyskie Szpilki (Tychy High Heels), an association of enterprising women from the Tychy area, to raise money for the purchase of an ambulance and essential equipment and medical supplies. We applaud our team and Tyskie Szpilki for their generous donations and work to help those who are injured and most in need during these trying times.
As part of our Asia #communitygiving program, One Heart One Lear, our Cebu, Philippines, team donated proceeds to the visually impaired members of Resources for the Blind Inc. Philippines. The members were not only grateful to receive many grocery supplies and snacks, but to also reunite with their friends who are visually impaired and they hadn’t met since the pandemic began. Great work, Lear Cebu team! #OneLear
