Knowing how to listen to, respond to and resolve a customer’s challenges is essential when joining Medline’s dynamic salesforce. Now there’s a new “home base” for learning all of it. More than 40 people, including several area customers, gathered with Medline leaders Tuesday for the official unveiling of the company’s new sales training center – a reimagined suite of collaborative learning spaces at Medline’s main offices in Northfield, Ill. Covering roughly 14,000 square feet, the center is about 50% larger than the previous training area for sales representatives, providing more space for bigger groups from around the country to converge in person for hands-on activities, breakout demonstrations and specialized instruction in one modern hub that addresses the needs of a specialized salesforce and Medline’s growing footprint across all points of care. With the expansion of the space, Medline’s sales training curriculum has been enhanced, too – incorporating hands-on product training, customer and industry insight and richer training on the soft skills that are critical to building effective customer relationships.

We’re honored to be recognized alongside Northwestern Medicine with the #GHXcellence Award for Collaboration and Partnership. Congratulations to Tabitha M. Welsh of Northwestern Medicine and our own Brian Harty for their leadership throughout this transition. This recognition is a testament to what’s possible when health systems and supply chain partners move forward together.

GHX Announces the 2024 GHXcellence Award Winners
"The company was doubly recognized this month in rankings spotlighting key leadership and innovation across the healthcare industry. Medline CEO Jim Boyle was included in the No. 24 spot among the publication’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare for 2024, and Medline itself was one of three honorees in the supply chain category of the newly launched Best in Business awards, which focus on the crucial contributions of vendors, suppliers and other healthcare partners." "The Best in Business rankings are based on quality, outcomes, efficiency, customer focus and innovation, as determined by a panel of judges that included active and retired leaders from healthcare organizations, associations and industry bodies..." “Our relentless focus on the customer is at the heart of everything we do, and we would not be so successful without a remarkable team. These recognitions belong to them, and I’m honored to lead such a remarkable group.” - Jim Boyle (CEO, Medline)

Pair of Modern Healthcare recognitions underscore Medline's growing impact
"Looking back on 2024, it was a year of more for Medline – more innovations added to its portfolio of 335,000-plus products, more collaborations, more growth, more prestige in the form of industry recognitions and, above all, more possibilities for customers – all driven by a resilient workforce that grew to 43,000 strong." "Those combined efforts – everything from business acquisitions that bolster Medline’s capabilities to new care solutions to facility upgrades – were all part of the company’s persistent focus on giving providers the products, support and peace of mind they need to overcome their individual and industry challenges and make healthcare run better." "Enjoy this stroll back through Medline’s top news of the last 12 months"
