For almost half a century, Methodist Dallas has been lucky enough to enjoy Lead Surgical Tech Alice Madden's million-dollar smile and her marvelous sense of humor. She was often the first face that patients saw as they were wheeled into an operating room. Alice would greet them with a huge hello and would frequently pray and sing with patients to put them at ease. It wasn't uncommon for a patient to wake up from surgery and ask "Where's Alice?" We've reached the halfway mark! Methodist Richardson recently held a topping-out ceremony to celebrate reaching a significant milestone in its $85 million vertical expansion. We're adding two new patient floors with ultimately 150 new beds. Completion is expected in late 2019. The first phase of construction included two projects that are already complete: the hospital’s ninth operating room and a seven-story parking garage. We are so excited!
