In his FY18 Q2 employee communications meeting, Steve Sanghi, Microchip’s CEO, congratulated the team on reaching its goal of becoming a $4 billion company. This marks Microchip’s 108th consecutive quarter of profitability, outperforming most of its competitors in the industry. Since Microchip practices shared rewards, this was happy news for team members because it meant that yet another quarterly employee bonus would be paid out. Microchip volunteers recently prepared brunch for about 80 people who were staying at the Ronald McDonald House in New Hyde Park, NY. The House offers a secure and comfortable “home away from home” for families of children who are hospitalized with serious illnesses.

At our annual Health Expo in Hauppauge, NY, employees met with representatives from a variety of health and wellness organizations and also picked up some healthy snacks.
Another example of Microchip volunteers helping out in the community. This time, a team from the NY office, joined the Long Island Beach Access Group in cleaning up almost 280 pounds of garbage from Gilgo Beach to help preserve the areas natural beauty and resources.

Steve Sanghi visited the Hauppauge NY team to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of Microchip’s acquisition of SMSC.
