Each year, we have much to be thankful for, but this year, we're particularly grateful for our associates and partners alike, who lead with purpose and serve with passion. Their purpose and passion resulted in Compass Group donating over 1.1 million meals to food-insecure individuals this year. We’ve built new collaborations with organizations like CAREit and Food Rescue Hero - two organizations providing food rescue solutions nationally; and we’ve continued to work with longstanding partners Feeding America, Chef's to End Hunger, GoodrCo., Food Rescue US and City Harvest.
Socks are the #1 most-needed clothing item in homeless shelters, and for the third year in a row, Compass One Healthcare teams have made a difference in our communities by hosting Socktober donation drives in hospitals across the country. We are BEYOND proud to share that together, we collected and donated over 190,000 pairs of socks to those in need. We're completely blown away by the generosity of our teams and hospital partners! Proud to share that Morrison Healthcare’s CulMar FEST was named a 2023 Sales and Marketing Technology Award Winner by Business Intelligence Group! This award serves as a testament to our organization’s creativity and passion for success. Our Culinary Strategy & Innovation team saw an opportunity to bring together our leaders from both the culinary and marketing teams for a one of kind event! The event provided the perfect platform for our teams to learn, collaborate, and, most importantly, celebrate. The three-day summit in November 2022 included over 100 future leaders and offered amazing training sessions, panel discussions to hear from senior leaders on career growth, and even a “Shark Tank” style competition.
