In 2018, CAT debuted another first: the Cat® D6 XE, the world’s first high drive electric drive dozer. In 2017, Mustang’s Power Systems division opened a state-of-the-art large bore facility. That same year, during Hurricane Harvey, Mustang Cat sprang into action—assisting the City of Houston in rescuing families from dangerous floodwaters.
