What a way to wrap up the first week of April! From Birmingham to Boston, the 👓 MyEyeDr. team had an 'eye'mazing time connecting with #OptometryStudents. First stop, University of Alabama at Birmingham - Mark Schaeffer, OD, FAAO, Ewuvonka and Pamela had the pleasure of immersing themselves among the #HumansOfUAB, learning about their career aspirations in #optometry and showcasing how MyEyeDr. can support them along the way. Next, Tracey Morette Glendenning, OD, FCOVD and Shaughn shipped off to Boston to participate in the New England College of Optometry Mentorship session for 1st and 2nd year students, followed by a spectacular dinner with 3rd and 4th year students. We've always believed it, and moments like these reaffirm it: the future of optometry shines brilliantly with the passion and dedication of the next generation. Last Thursday, 👓 MyEyeDr.'s Shaughn Korpalski and Tracey Morette Glendenning, OD, FCOVD, were spotted on the West Coast, connecting with #OptometryStudents from Marshall B. Ketchum University's Southern California College of Optometry and Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. We celebrated not just a milestone of 120 years for #SCCO but the promise of the future. 🥳 It was inspiring to witness the dedication and aspirations of these students firsthand.
