As a Community Captain for the 18th Annual DC Metro VisionWalk, MyEyeDr. is stepping up for a sight-saving cause! 😎 Since its 2006 inception, VisionWalk has raised over $63 million to fund vision research. Our DC area team associates will be representing MyEyeDr., as all walkers, volunteers, and staff walk 2 miles along the boardwalk of Yards Park to help that amount grow. 💲 Interested in participating? For this DC event, it's preferred to register online in advance to help the VisionWalk team plan. However, there will be on-site registration open day of the event. Walk Start is 11:15am Sunday, June 11, 2023. MyEyeDr. is proud to announce our partnership with KYCO, who has created the KYCO OAT Grant fund to remove financial barriers and increase diversity within our profession. These grants are meant to help with the costs of taking the Optometry Admissions Test (OAT). With our contribution, 10 potential Optometry students will benefit as recipients.
