NYL Foundation Debuts Graphic Novel About Navigating Grief Our protagonist, Kai, is back, he’s in middle school now, and still dealing with the death of his dad because grief never goes away. The graphic novel, Lost in the Middle, was recently released by the New York Life Foundation, and explores the grief journey of Kai and his classmates.
