We are proud to announce that we have closed a $115 million Series B financing. Proceeds will be used to drive our lead engineered TIL program, cytoTIL15, into the clinic and to first clinical data for the treatment of metastaticmelanoma. The financing round was led by The Column Group Crossover Fund (TCGX) and included participation from new investors RA Capital Management, L.P., Surveyor Capital (a Citadel company), Cowen Inc. Healthcare Investments, Deep Track Capital, Logos Global Management, LP, Pivotal bioVenture Partners , Samsara BioCapital, and Soleus Capital Management, L.P. Existing investors participating include Atlas Venture, Vertex Ventures HC, Amgen Ventures, and Bristol Myers Squibb. Also participating in the round is Vertex Pharmaceuticals, with whom Obsidian recently executed a collaboration to discover novel therapies that regulate gene editing.
