Whether for safety, quality, service, or just being an incredible leader and peer, these awards reflect the hard work of all supply chain team members. Cranberry passion runs deep, worldwide. Our Chilean farmers help keep the cran flowing, like agronomist Luz Maria Bennett and farmers Felipe Donso and Fernando Casari. All three are dedicated to bring cranberry love around the globe!
Safety is embedded in our culture and mindset, particularly for our manufacturing and farming locations. While we always see our team members’ commitment, it is special when others recognize their dedication. For example, our Markham, Washington facility was recently recognized by Washington's Labor and Industries Department with S.T.A.R.T. (Safety Through Achieving Recognition Together) certification--making them one of just 12 companies in the state with this certification! Congratulations Markham team and thanks to all our team members around the globe that keep safety a top priority!
For the third year in a row, Ocean Spray Cranberries, Henderson has been recognized as one of Nevada’s Top Workplaces 2022. Only 55 companies in the entire state achieved this honor. For the first time, Henderson earned all twelve Culture Badges. These badges represent the aspects of culture and are awarded to only the top 25th percentile of survey participants – and – six of the twelve Culture Badges scored in the top 5th percentile in the aspects of: Open-Minded, Meaningful Work, Leaders-In-The-Know, Innovation, Employee Appreciation and Cross-Team Cooperation! The Henderson team is so proud of this recognition. This distinction demonstrates, statewide and locally, that Ocean Spray Cranberries is truly an employer of choice!
