Our Environmental team had fun learning about conservation on their recent behind-the scenes tour of the San Antonio Zoo! Usually hidden away, the Zoo has a team of specialized biologists working in nurseries to raise young reptile, amphibian, and fish species for reintroduction into the wild all over the world. They also toured the Will Smith Zoo School, the largest nature-based program in the country, operated by our local zoo! Pape Dawson served as the civil engineer on the school, in partnership with Lake-Flato Architects. The U.S. Green Building Council recently awarded the Will Smith Zoo School LEED Platinum certification, the first for a preschool in the country and second in the world. #PapeDawsonCulture #Environmental

Congratulations to Jon Cooper, RPLS for his election to Vice President and Eric Snell, RPLS for his 2nd Year Director appointment to the chapter.
