Dr. Ranginwala explores “The Value of Fetal MRI: Making the Case for Advanced Fetal Imaging.”
June is Caribbean American Heritage Month, a time to recognize Caribbean Americans and the many ways Caribbean heritage has shaped communities across the United States. Caribbean Americans are typically defined as individuals who trace their ancestry to the Caribbean region, which includes more than 30 countries and territories across the Greater and Lesser Antilles. This includes, but is not limited to, people with roots in Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Trinidad and Tobago, Puerto Rico, Barbados and the U.S. Virgin Islands, among many others. The Caribbean community is highly diverse, reflecting a wide range of linguistic, cultural and ancestral backgrounds. Let us all take time this month to honor their contributions, learn from various Caribbean cultures and celebrate the many ways Caribbean American communities continue to strengthen our society today.
