Declared a federal holiday in 2021, Juneteenth recognizes the day in 1865 when news of freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Team members, including those from our Pride Network BRG, volunteered at our booth throughout the festival weekend to connect with jobseekers, prospective customers and community members.
