Our CEO, Jeff Boutelle, recently sat down with Megan Poinski to chat about how Pharmavite continues to innovate and stay at the forefront of consumer needs, and about his leadership style throughout our company’s growth and transformation. In the interview, Jeff shares: “You don’t get the shine without the friction. Friction can be a good thing. It can also be a bad thing if done wrong, but this is the creative debate and dialogue. When I first got here, it wasn’t part of the culture. It was viewed as a negative to disagree or to offer a different opinion. We created an environment where people are encouraged and free to do that, because that’s where the magic happens. It’s been working for us pretty well.” Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gycx-sMG

Recently, our California-based manufacturing and warehousing facilities teamed up to support local non-profit, EnrichLA, and its Garden Build program. This program creates innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable gardens, classrooms, and green spaces in schools. EnrichLA's initiatives aim to cultivate a positive classroom environment, elevate student morale, encourage community participation, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Pharmavite volunteers and their loved ones participated in a full day of weeding, digging, cleaning and more to help bring a new garden to life in an elementary school in Panorama City, CA demonstrating one of our core operating values, "care deeply and do something."

At Pharmavite, we know that diverse teams make the best teams, and that diversity and inclusion are vital for delivering our purpose to bring the gift of health to life. As part of this commitment, Pharmavite is proud to sponsor HBCU CONNECT, an organization that serves the needs of 107 HBCU students and alumni across the U.S. by providing a platform for networking, professional opportunities, educational opportunities, and connections with over 400 employers and community partners. Most recently, Pharmavite participated in HBCU Connect’s 25th Anniversary Annual Conference and Career Fair, which allowed the Pharmavite team to connect with talented and diverse students and alumni from historically black colleges and universities across the country. In addition, we supported HBCU’s 5K walk/run that highlighted the importance of improving the health and wellbeing of under-represented communities. We look forward to continuing our partnership with HBCU Connect.
