The healthcare team at Phoenix Children’s nationally-ranked Endocrine & Diabetes division is comprised of specialized physicians, certified diabetes educator nurses and dietitians, psychologists and social workers — all committed to helping patient families effectively manage life with diabetes. We are proud to offer one of the largest pediatric-centric diabetes programs of its kind in the U.S., and Arizona’s only dedicated outpatient pediatric dialysis center. Our diabetes education program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association since 2015.

Phoenix Children’s Spina Bifida Clinic was well represented at the 2024 Walk N Roll for Spina Bifida Association of Arizona. Attendees gained the latest industry best practices in pediatric emergency and trauma care to enhance prehospital care for children facing medical and life-threatening emergencies. Attendees also saw our Simbulance up close — the new mobile ambulance simulator for first-responder technical skills training — and ventured through our exhibit hall featuring ≈40 exhibitors.
