We believe great work deserves great food. Our Annual Summer BBQ, catered by local business, Richard's Too Good BBQ, gave employees a chance to step away from their desks, connect with teammates, and enjoy an afternoon of delicious food and community.

This March, our Women's Initiative ERG had the incredible opportunity to host an interview with Jessica Campbell, assistant coach for the Seattle Kraken and the NHL’s first female coach! In celebration of Women’s History Month, Jessica shared insights into her journey in the sports industry, the challenges she has faced and overcome throughout her playing and coaching career, and the lessons she’s learned along the way. At PitchBook, we’re proud to foster conversations that inspire and empower, and we’re grateful to Jessica for sharing her story with us!

What is it like to navigate the world of sports and investing? During AANHPI month, our ASPIRE employee resource group hosted former pro-golfer and angel investor Michelle Wie West for a conversation on navigating the world of sports as a woman, advocating for AANHPI representation, and empowering diverse voices in the business world. Michelle has forged her own path as an athlete: she became the youngest player to ever qualify for a USGA amateur championship at age 10, turned professional right before her 16th birthday, earned her degree at Stanford while competing on the LPGA tour, and competed for more than two decades. Now retired from the game, Michelle partners with PitchBook as her caddie off the course as she actively builds her portfolio, supporting brands she believes in and women and minority entrepreneurs. At PitchBook, our ASPIRE (Asian Pacific Islander Represent) ERG is committed to creating and embracing a welcoming, safe and supportive work environment for members and/or allies of the AANHPI community. Big thanks to our ASPIRE team members for organizing this inspiring event, and of course to Michelle for joining us to share a little about her journey!

🤝 As a company, we have a long tradition of giving back. During our Global Volunteer Days, in partnership with Morningstar, team members around the world volunteered with organizations in our local communities, from packing food for families in need to cleaning trash from parks and beaches. We exceeded last year's team member participation and are so proud of the impact we made. Huge thanks to all our volunteers and to the organizations we worked with! #LifeAtPB

🏆 Cheers to a Seattle Kraken win on Leap Year Night presented by PitchBook! We had a blast with our clients, team members, and fellow Kraken fans at Climate Pledge Arena last Thursday. There were so many highlights throughout the night, including welcoming our clients to The PitchBook Suites with the Winformation wall, giving away prizes throughout the night, a shopping spree at the Kraken store, and surprising a fan with a signed hockey stick! Congratulations to everyone who made the night a success. We can't wait for next year! #LifeAtPB

In honor of Veteran’s Day this weekend, our military and veteran-led Employee Resource Group, Valor, partnered with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home near our Seattle headquarters. From building framing and putting up walls to winterizing the property, volunteers all lent a helping hand. More than thirty PitchBook employees and our CEO, John Gabbert, joined the effort to support Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing initiative. Our Valor ERG embraces our military community here at PitchBook, and we are proud to support our local community through this event.
