The QC and CSX teams joined Operation Gratitude to help fill 5,000 care kits to show our appreciation to our first responders in the greater Tampa Bay area. Thank you to all the volunteers and speakers for taking part in giving back to our community.

QC wants to spotlight Rudel Phillip for supporting his fellow traveler Molly while traveling on 17 south out of Charleston. Rudel was there for her during a nerve wracking incident that left her rattled. After the incident, Rudel gave Molly a thumbs up, which gave her the confidence and comfort to continue on her travels. She called Rudel “My guardian angel.” QC was contacted by Molly’s daughter, who stated "I would like to thank the trucker who stuck by my elderly mom‘s side today. She was scared to death and at least she knew that she had one person that was by her side throughout this extremely scary moment. I want to thank this sweet and dear trucker!" The right person in the right place at the right time can make all the difference. Thank you, Rudel, for being a model citizen, a model trucker, and a model QC teammate by coming to the aid of this woman.

Congratulations to Thomas “Mike” Camara for being nominated for P&G’s Carrier Driver of the Year award! Over the past year, Mike has delivered 155 shipments to P&G, all of which were on time with a CSA score of 4.0. He racked up 106,000 accident free miles during this time.
