QVI is proud to once again support Women Build, a program of Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity that brings together volunteers and funding to build safe, affordable housing for local families each year. Our team had the opportunity to take part in Habitat’s Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser, a fun and meaningful event that helps power this incredible work right here in the Rochester community. We’re honored to stand alongside an organization making a lasting impact and grateful for the chance to contribute to building stronger neighborhoods and brighter futures.

🎓 Congratulations to Our Dale Carnegie Skills for Success Graduates! We’re proud to celebrate the third cohort to complete the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success Program—an investment in personal growth, leadership capability, and long-term success. This experience focused on building confidence, strengthening communication and relationship skills, managing stress, and developing leadership presence. Cohort participants challenged themselves, practiced new approaches, and learned together in a supportive, collaborative environment. A meaningful part of the program was the mentorship component, where participants were paired with experienced leaders from across the organization. These relationships helped participants: ✨ Apply new skills in real-world situations ✨ Gain broader perspective and insight into the business ✨ Receive thoughtful feedback and guidance throughout the program At QVI, we continue to focus on developing strong communicators and capable leaders at every level of the organization. Congratulations to this cohort on completing the program.

Yesterday’s Leadership Lunch was a great success! We had the opportunity to sit down with Brian Deane, our Senior VP of Product Development, for an insightful conversation about his leadership journey, personal interests, hobbies, and more. Attendees enjoyed an interactive discussion and had the chance to ask thoughtful questions throughout the session. We especially loved learning about his experiences hiking as a 46’er, his passion for Jeeps, and the biggest influences in his life; proof that leadership journeys are shaped both in and out of the workplace. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this engaging and inspiring lunch!

Our Engagement Committee recently wrapped up a fun and fast-paced Quick Chat networking event, and it was a great success! Team members within QVI rotated through 3-minute conversations, used cue cards to spark engaging discussions, and connected with coworkers they may not normally work with. It was a wonderful opportunity for new employees to get to know others and build relationships across departments, get familiar with QVI, and feel welcomed into the team!

Each year, employees from various departments at Quality Vision International come together for an internal book club, and this year we spent eight weeks diving into “Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals” by Oliver Burkeman. We wrapped up with an insightful group discussion, sharing takeaways, personal reflections, and answering thought-provoking questions inspired by the book. Grateful for the conversations and connection this brought to our team!

Today we honor the veterans who have served and sacrificed for our country. QVI is so grateful for our veterans who patriotically served our country and now chose to apply their talents and various skill sets within our company - Thank you! This morning, we served breakfast for our veterans, and Danielle from our Accounting Department handed out hand-sewn lap blankets to those who served. Danielle volunteers with the non-profit “Lap Robes for Veterans” whose Vision Statement reads: “Our Vision is to ensure that every US Military Veteran within our geographic area understands the gratitude of this community for their service via a tangible thank you.” Thank you to Danielle and this organization for taking the extra step to honor our veterans. Thank you again to our wonderful veterans.
