R1 Volunteers Partner with AUSL as Judges for the Annual STEAM Fair Competition On Thursday, April 4th, more than 20 employees in Chicago joined the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) to serve as judges for the Annual STEAM Fair Competition finals. Students were judged on projects featuring science, technology, engineering, art as design and mathematics. Winners from the individual competitions at each of the 31 network schools were brought to Collins High School to compete in the STEAM fair finals. Winners were chosen for grades 4-12 and were presented awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Thank you to all of the volunteers for your time and dedication!
