In December, dozens of employees from the home office in Peoria, IL took time to ring the bell as part of The Salvation Army Peoria Red Kettle Campaign. We are proud that our employees have a reputation as leaders in the community, as volunteers who make a difference, and as generous donors to thousands of worthy causes across the nation.
In December, RLI’s Peoria office was a designated drop-off zone for the Salvation Army and U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Employees donated hundreds of items for the Salvation Army to deliver to local families in need. Thank you to everyone who participated.

To kick off the holiday season, RLI is honored to participate in @NYSE’s Global Giving Campaign as part their 99th Annual Tree Lighting. Our ornament hanging on their tree in front of the New York Stock Exchange highlights our support of Salvation Army. Happy holidays!
RLI founder Jerry Stephens believed that in order to ensure employee and shareholder interests were aligned, employees should be given the opportunity to become owners of the company. From that vision, RLI's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) was established in 1975 and has since become a cornerstone of our ownership culture. As we celebrate national ESOP month this October, we honor our founder and thank our employee owners who are making a difference every day! As a token of ownership in the company, all vested employees received an exclusive RLI ESOP coin to represent their “piece of the pie” at RLI. Moving forward, all participating employees will receive a coin upon becoming fully vested in RLI’s ESOP.

September marks RLI's 25th anniversary of serving the Hawaii homeowners market! For a quarter century, RLI has been a consistent carrier with deep expertise, providing homeowners insurance to Hawaii residents. We celebrated this exciting milestone with our trusted agents at our Honolulu office this week and thank our valued Hawaii customers for placing their trust in RLI.
RLI team members from across the organization recently gathered in Dallas, Texas for the RLI Regional Summit, which provided the opportunity to our discuss business, share product expertise and learn from one another. "The Regional Summit is yet another example of RLI's innovation through collaboration," said Jaime Gustafson, AVP, Transportation. "It was a fantastic opportunity to learn from and network with RLI colleagues." "Everyone always says the best part of these meetings is getting to spend time with other RLI team members," said Jen Klobnak, COO. "It's true, and I think we'll find some additional business opportunities from the information that was shared. It was a very energetic and curious group!" This was RLI's first Regional Summit.
