In the aftermath of a fire, how do experts learn what went wrong? And how do fire investigation specialists practice their skills in the absence of actual fires? On Thursday, April 18th, Rimkus team members in North Carolina hosted a live burn event at Sandy Bottom Volunteer Fire and Rescue. The live burn coincided with presentations on Electrical Fire Investigations, Fire Investigation and Subrogation, and Analyzing Vehicle Fires. Thanks to all who attended and learned about this fascinating area of forensic investigation! Sound like interesting work? Rimkus fire investigators are frequently asked to perform origin and cause investigations to help clients understand fire and explosion events, but they also get to be involved in exciting continuing education presentations like this live burn. Our growing team is hiring fire investigators in offices spanning the United States. Visit our Careers page to learn more.
