Congratulations to Sam Sharpless, P.E., CFEI! Sam was appointed as a subcommittee chairman for the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Transformer Committee. In this role, Sam is a member of the steering group and leads the development for eight transformer standards and guides. Sam is a registered professional engineer in 23 states and a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. He is also Vice President of Rimkus Consulting Group and is the National MEP Practice Leader. Today, we are proud to recognize our growing Information Technology team and the well-deserved promotions of two of our technology leaders. As we continue to move our business forward, our company has established the Rimkus Technology Department. At the helm of this new department is Justin Redenius, who has been promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer. To lead our growing IT team, Amos Terry has been promoted to Vice President, Information Technology. We are actively looking to fill several roles on this dynamic team. We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Jeff Peters, who retired last month after celebrating 20 years of service with Rimkus in April. Jeff is a licensed professional mechanical engineer who began his Rimkus career as a Senior Consultant. His professional responsibilities grew to include various management roles in the Environmental, Fire, Construction and MEP practice areas, both in Houston and at a national level. He retires as Vice President, National MEP Practice, where he has been an industry leader and integral part of the growth, management, quality control, and technical support of our national Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing team. As part of this transition, Jeff will continue part-time as a Principal Consultant in our Houston headquarters to continue work on remaining matters. We are grateful for the dedication he has shown his many responsibilities during his tenure with our company, and we wish him a happy retirement!
