We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Robert Anderson, who retired last month after more than 20 years of service with our company. Rob began his Rimkus career as a District Manager of our San Antonio office and grew professionally into roles that included South Texas Regional Manager and Vice President, South Central Region. He retires as Sr. Vice President, Great Lakes Region, where he has been integral in many areas of Rimkus’ business including team management, recruitment, customer service, business development, and key account management on regional and national levels. As a retirement gesture for Rob, a valued member of the Rimkus family, many of our co-workers started a donation page for TEAM Marissa, a 501C3 charity founded by Rob and his wife, Karen, to honor their daughter. We are grateful for the dedication he showed his many responsibilities during his tenure with our company, and we wish him a happy retirement!

Meet Michelle Price, a Rimkus Consultant based in our Baltimore and Philadelphia offices. Michelle is a transportation consultant and ACTAR-accredited Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist. As a forensic consultant, she provides Rimkus clients in the northeast United States with vehicle crash analyses to determine cause and critical factors of collisions. Today Rimkus recognizes San Antonio-based professional civil engineer Erik Valle, who earned the title of Senior Consultant earlier this year. Erik’s recent accomplishments also include becoming a Certified English Excel Tribometrist and drone pilot. He’s a professional engineer registered in four states, and he performs forensic investigations related to construction and premises liability.

Youth sports can result in concussions and other head injuries. How do head injury risks of football, non-tackle football, basketball, and soccer compare? Data from emergency rooms and youth sports participation surveys provide insights. Recently for the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine, Rimkus Director, Human Factors, Steve Hall and Human Factors Consultant Jared Frantz co-authored a paper that looks at data regarding 2014-2018 emergency department visits for head injuries. Meet Gloria Koehlinger, the new Director of the Rimkus Contractor Default Practice. Recently serving as the District Manager of our Pittsburgh, PA, office, Gloria’s promotion is due to her extensive industry experience managing specialty construction practices. In her new role, she will work closely with other construction practice leaders to expand Rimkus specialty capabilities related to contractor default, forensic delay analysis, and construction services. Taking Gloria’s place as the District Manager in Pittsburgh is Lauren Carpenter, who currently oversees Rimkus office operations in our Chicago offices.
