We honor and remember our nation’s first responders today, on this day of national significance, and always. We are especially proud of one of our own, Charles Curreri. Chip, a Fire Consultant in our Houston office, was a first responder at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Chip will serve as the keynote speaker today at the First Annual First Responders and Veterans Appreciation Luncheon in Chickasaw, Alabama. It’s a jungle out there! Houston’s Night Court just wrapped its 2019 show, Law of the Jungle II. We are so proud to announce our continued support of this long-running, all-lawyer charity musical-comedy revue. The annual event raises money for local charitable organizations. This year’s recipients include Houston Area Women’s Center Children’s Court Services, Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse- Texas, The Beacon of Downtown Houston’s Beacon Law Program, Family Intervention – Infant Toddler Court, Lone Star Legal Aid – Military Veterans Unit, South Texas College of Law Legal Clinics, and Child Advocates.
