We are incredibly proud to have been this year's title sponsor for the She Builds Summer Program, hosted by Florida International University's Moss Department of Construction Management! This all-girls camp designed for high schoolers interested in construction has been an inspiration to future builders since it began in 2017. Our Florida team members led a full day of camp, featuring a presentation showcasing virtual design and construction and the latest technology our teams are using in the field. We also participated in a panel titled, “A Walk in Her Shoes – Women of Robins & Morton,” giving campers a chance to interact with our team and see what a potential career in construction would be like. Finally, we welcomed the campers to our UHealth at Doral jobsite for a tour of the medical center scheduled for completion later this year. Our Nashville team was humbled by the opportunity to help people facing hunger in our communities. Team members from our Nashville office and area project sites partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, sorting nearly 20,000 pounds of food, enough to provide more than 16,000 meals. More than 350,000 individuals, including thousands of children, struggle with hunger across Middle and West Tennessee, according to the food bank. We will continue to give our time, energy, and support to help strengthen the communities where we live and work. #GivingWithPurpose

Our Birmingham team members donated more than 500 books for K-12 students to support Executive Women International Birmingham's Reading Rally. The rally is part of EWI's commitment to promote literacy in our community and around the world. Our team has been instrumental in shaping the Birmingham skyline and driving growth across the city for nearly 80 years. As the Birmingham Business Journal writes, "The firm had a significant impact on the Birmingham metro area in 2023 with local projects, including renovations and upgrades across two campuses of Lawson State Community College; the grand opening of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center’s new two-story, 28,840-square-foot operating room addition, along with a new pedestrian bridge, administrative spaces and 2,500-square-foot post-anesthesia care unit; and the development of the Samford University campus plan, including the construction of a new 513-bed residents hall for first-year students and two new residence halls totaling 140 beds for upper-division and Greek students." Earlier this summer, we hosted our annual Co-op and Intern Summit, welcoming more than 60 students who have spent their summer with us. The students represent 21 universities and have become part of 36 project sites around the country. The summit, held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, was a terrific opportunity for them to celebrate their accomplishments, learn from mentors, participate in team-building activities, and connect with each other. Robins & Morton President and COO Robin Savage, Executive Vice President of Operations Derek Gregg, and Vice President Mark Mattox each brought valuable insights to attendees, as did two of our former interns and now full-time team members, Project Engineer Thalia Morejon and Field Engineer Landon Day. “It’s a great chance to ask full-time employees — ranging from field engineers to executives — about working at Robins & Morton,” Preconstruction Intern Jackson Rogers said. “They’re excited to talk to you, and I believe the relationships I made with both full-time team members and fellow interns will be beneficial in the future.” Thank you to each of our co-ops and interns who joined us this summer and contributed to our teams.
