“It’s very meaningful to be able to contribute to the communities in the US, especially in the time of COVID-19. I am happy that SK hynix supports healthcare workers and low-income families who are going through tough and challenging times,” said Tony Yoon, CEO of SKHMS America. A few weeks ago, we distributed masks to our employees. We believe we can keep our communities safe by keeping our employees safe. In an effort to continue to help our communities, on Monday, May 4th, together with SK hynix America Inc., we visited Valley Medical Center Foundation in San Jose and donated 50,000 surgical masks! We are very grateful to all the healthcare workers who are battling against COVID-19 and we feel the need to protect them by delivering masks! We have also donated $500k to local organizations, including #SiliconValleyStrong Fund to support local low-income families and Second Harvest of Silicon Valley to help feed the vulnerable.
