"World's Top Companies for Women 2023" – Sartorius part of Forbes ranking for the first time For the third time, Forbes and the market research company Statista awarded multinational corporations that have been evaluated by around 70,000 women worldwide in multiple independent surveys. A total of 400 companies worldwide were awarded, and Sartorius was among the top 300. The ranking is based on three criteria: In the Employer Brand Score, respondents evaluated their own employer as well as other companies in their industry on a range of gender-related topics. A public survey conducted only by women measured how companies are perceived in terms of gender equality. The Leadership Score measures the number of CEO, board and executive committee positions held by women. Despite initial signs of recovery at the end of the third quarter, soft customer demand that lasted longer than expected shaped the business development of the life science group Sartorius in the first nine months of 2023. After pandemic-related extraordinary business and inventory buildup by customers had triggered strong additional growth momentum in previous years, the company recorded declines in sales revenue and profitability. “2023 will be a year of normalization for Sartorius as well as for the market as a whole. We expect the business situation to continue to improve slightly in the fourth quarter, especially in the Bioprocess Solutions division, and anticipate profitable growth in 2024 and beyond,” said Sartorius CEO Joachim Kreuzburg.
