Our members had the privilege of attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City Pride Luncheon on behalf of SelectQuote! This event raised awareness for LGBTQIA+ students and UMKC's support efforts, including the Pride Empowerment Fund, which assists students experiencing financial difficulty due to loss of support from family. "UMKC is really doing some amazing things for our LGBTQ community, and I was so grateful to be able to attend their Pride Luncheon on behalf of SelectQuote! We all deserve a seat at the table, and I love that these younger generations of students can feel so supported by their peers and faculty. Recently, SelectQuote had the opportunity to attend the 2024 Kansas City Business Journal Women's Summit, a premier event focused on empowering women in leadership and business! This year’s summit theme was “Further,” an important reminder of how we should strive to pass on a legacy of leadership in the workplace. This theme deeply aligns with SelectQuote's commitment to fostering growth and advancement for women within the organization and the broader community. This summer, SelectQuote had the pleasure of welcoming 22 interns into our organization 🌟 These bright and creative individuals made a great impact on our everyday operations as they gained experience and valuable insights into the Insurance and Healthcare industries. Recently, the #SelectQuoteFoundation had the pleasure of partnering with the Love Fund for Children to host a fun day at Union Station's #ScienceCity! Our team of 40 enthusiastic volunteers served as chaperones, guiding the excited 1st to 4th graders through a day filled with discovery and learning 🧠 🧪 This event not only rewarded the students for their hard work and dedication but also met many of Missouri’s Curriculum standards for science! A special thanks to all volunteers for supporting and enriching the lives of children across #KansasCity. With your help, we can continue to build a community in which every child lives a life without need 💗
