Over the past few weeks we have been listening, learning and working on an actionable plan to combat racism within our own walls and within our communities. Today on the World Day for Safety and Health, Sensata continues to do everything it can to keep not only its employees safe but also provide for essential workers. Sensata employees have begun 3D printing Prusa N95 protective face shields at our Bloomington and Attleboro sites and, as a company, Sensata is proudly supporting STEMbassadors by providing funding for STEM materials, including 3D printers that are now busy printing masks. #SafeDay2020

As medical device companies and automotive and aerospace companies ramp up production of ventilators to aid in the recovery of COVID-19 patients, Sensata is also stepping up to meet the challenge. Our teams across the world have rallied together to support orders from customers for brushless DC motors, voice coil actuators and pressure sensors for ventilator applications at a rate of 8x-10x what we would normally produce in a year. “I’m proud of our teams who have demonstrated amazing flexibility in the last several weeks. I know together we can not only make it through this difficult time but also help our customers and communities through as well.” – Jeff Cote, CEO & President.
