This year at our Leadership Conference our Hotel Human Resources Team together with our Corporate Human Resources Team spent an evening creating and painting a collage of words that they feel are what Human Resources is all about. It certainly took some patience, teamwork and a lot of fun to collaborate this masterpiece that proudly hangs on the wall of our headquarters. Beautiful Work Team!
Congratulations to Lupita, who won the hotel's Employee of the Month award! Lupida is one of our Public Area Attendant at the Courtyard Cherry Creek hotel. She was nominated by her fellow co-workers because she has demonstrated excellent guest service throughout the month. Happy National Donuts Day! To help us celebrate, Stonebridge Companies welcomed Karie Shuler from Denver Public Schools to our office as an ongoing partner in the ACE youth internship program. Karie advised our team on how we can partner with her students interested in a career within hospitality and work with them to develop the skills to become an independent, successful member of the workforce. Our HR Team was invited to Denver Public School's Annual ACE Business Luncheon & Awards. We are excited to have learned how Stonebridge Comapnies will become a participant in their youth internship program, teaching graduating seniors what it is like to work in the hospitality industry. We look forward to welcoming our new class of interns to our Denver hotel's this summer!
