January is traditionally the time of making New Year’s Resolutions. And for many people, that resolution is to find a new job. As recruiters, we’re all about helping people get themselves into a role that’s a better fit for them. Better can be a lot of different things--better salary, better work environment, better commute, and better tech-stack are just a few examples that come to mind. But whatever the reason for switching jobs, please keep in mind that there is a right way to leave your current position--and a definite wrong way.
Introducing our NEW Candidate Directory Feature! We are excited to debut our new Candidate Directory feature on our website. This will allow qualified candidates the opportunity to have their information posted anonymously on our website. For more than a decade, Stout Systems provided anonymous candidate information on our old Web site. After receiving many request from our clients, we have re-introduced this feature in our new site. Here’s how it works: a customer sees your anonymous profile. They fill out a more information request and submit it to us. We, in turn, reach out to you to see if you would be interested in having your full resume presented to our customer. It is a great way to increase your visibility to potential employers. If you have not created a profile with us, send your resume to recruit@stoutsystems.com. We will determine your eligibility for the site directory and work with you to set up a profile. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMgd0

Answer it the right way and you can practically feel the interviewer's satisfaction with your response—but screw it up and you might as well shut your folio right then, thank the interviewers for their time, and walk yourself out the door. Here are some examples of those questions and the thought process behind them. Read more: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMR2t
