Sunrise Services is sponsoring the 2022 'Run For Your Life' Suicide Awareness Run! The Run For Your Life Run/Walk raises money to improve suicide awareness and combat stigmas surrounding mental health. All proceeds go back into the community to support wellness programs and mental health resources. In addition to the run, there will be food trucks, a beer garden, guest speakers, vendors, and live music at the event! Come and enjoy the festivities while supporting an incredible cause! 5K, 10K, or 1 mile walk/run options.

Did you know that Sunrise Services has been in business for over 45 years? We owe our vision and our passion to the leadership and energy of Gene and Sue Closser, the founders of Sunrise Services. In the mid 1970s, Sue and Gene worked at an institution in Colorado. They believed there was a better way to provide care services and sought to open a facility for people with disabilities. They moved to a state that was much more progressive with group homes and caring for those in need – Washington State. On their wedding anniversary on March 1st, 1977, Sue and Gene took over three group homes and thus began a long, storied career of working to care for people with disabilities, seniors in need of care, and individuals living with mental health challenges. Today, Sunrise Services continues to advocate and intervene for those who cannot, enabling better management of complex life situations.
